Diya Kumari was born on January 30, 1971 in Jaipur,Rajasthan. Diya Kumari’s Father Bhawani Singh was an Army Official and Hotelier. Her Mother name is Padmini Devi.Diya Kumari belonged to a Royal Family. She is the grandaughter of last Ruling Maharaja of Jaipur, Man Singh II.Diya Kumari is a born Billionaire.

Education

Diya Kumari completed her Schooling from Modern School, Delhi and then She shifted to G.D.Somani School, Mumbai.Diya Kumari moved to London in 1989 to Pursue her Graduation in Fine Arts from Chelsea School of Arts, London.She holds Hon. Doctrate in Philosophy From Amity University.

Political Career

Diya Kumari’s Family has been into Politics from a very Long Time. Her Father Contested in the Lok Sabha Elections in 1989 but got Defeated.Her Grandmother, Gayatri Devi won the elections in 1962, 1967 and 1971 as MP in Jaipur Province.

Diya Kumari followed the steps of her Grandmother and father by joining Politics.Diya Kumari started her Political Career in 2013 in Gujarat in the presence of Narendra Modi.She contested the Elections from Sawai Madhopur and won it.Diya Kumari then became MP In 2019. Diya Kumari became MLA in 2023 Assembly Elections. Now, She will be serving as the Deputy CM of Rajasthan in 2023.

Personal Life & Marriage

Diya Kumari was married to Narendra Singh who was a commoner. It was a Love Marriage but it created a lot of rifts in the Royal Family of Diya Kumari. Diya has three childrens from her husband – Padmanbh Singh & Lakash Singh. Her Daughter name is Gauravi Singh. Unfortunatley, Diya and Narendra Singh’s Marriage ended as they got divorced in 2018.

Diya Kumari has shown gratitude towards the party members for honouring her as the Deputy CM of the State. She feels that now she has a huge responsibilty towards working for the Growth and Development of the State and she will serve her best towards prosperity of Rajasthan.
